Most patients are seen as needed and within 1 -2 days. Tuesday evening appointments are also available. Home visits and assistance with school meetings for behavior problems or IEP planning are available. Individual/Family: Initial call- about 15 minute is free. Fee-for-Service is $140/session. Group sessions are $50 each for 50 minutes. A bill will be provided a bill to submit to your insurance company.

Scheduled appointments that are cancelled prior to 24 hours of the appointment carry no penalty charge. Those within the 24 hour window of the appointment time will be billed for the appointment, which is not covered by insurance.

Phone messages may be left on the secure-office telephone, 913/345-1905. Dr. Wallingford may return your message if out of the office and she may inform you if she is on a non-secure telephone. Dr. Wallingford makes every effort to answer your calls but she may be with a client when you call. Return phone calls are not substitutes for sessions and thus, are brief; lengthy phone calls now carry a fee. If Dr. Wallingford is out-of-town, an on-call psychologist would be available for emergency situations. You may be directed to take yourself or your child to an emergency department for further assessment. Your signature on office policies alerts you to this information.
